Doctors Without Borders/MSF and NCM Fathom broadcast live from the Skirball Center

The critically acclaimed documentary Living in Emergency: Stories of Doctors Without Borders provides a behind the scenes perspective of Doctors Without Borders/MSF field operations in Congo and Liberia. Following the documentary, Elizabeth Vargas will moderate a town hall discussion with Sebastian Junger, Dr. Tom Krueger and Sophie Delaunay.

The Derek Trucks Band World Tour stops at NYU Skirball Center

The Skirball Center's Project 566 Series: What's Next brings The Derek Trucks Band to NYU. The performance will feature songs from the band's new album “Already Free” where the group expands on its blues roots and Southern rock style to incorporate the larger sounds of rock, soul, jazz, Latin, and Indian music.

Digital Broadcast from the UK’s National Theatre in London

September 25, 2009

On Friday, October 9 the Skirball Center will present a high definition screening of the National Theatre’s All’s Well That Ends Well. The production is directed by Marianne Elliot with a cast lead by Oliver Ford Davies, Clare Higgins, Conleth Hill, George Rainsford and Michelle Terry.

The Comedy of Aziz Ansari with John Mulaney

Aziz Ansari of NBC's Parks and Recreation along with John Mulaney bring standup and sketch comedy to the Skirball Center on October 29, 2009 at 8pm as part of the Project 566: What’s Next Series. Last year's Project 566 standup event was headlined by Zach Galifianakis who later appeared in the film The Hangover and stars in the new HBO comedy Bored to Death.
